My name is Brinique Petersen, a Systems Support & Applications Developer. My interests stand firmly in technology and my journey started way before I could understand what the science of computing was all about when the first home computers were made available in South Africa using MS Dos and starting it up using what is now known as CMD “Command Prompt”.
I appreciate how math is used in a simple way. Advancements in technology and the simplicity of using that technology able to simplify the most complex and boring tasks. I enjoy creating solutions through development via challenges that businesses pose when it comes to completing everyday duties by increased automation and enhanced user-friendliness. User Interface, User Experience. I enjoy ASP.NET, SQL, and .Net Core the most methods for implementing in C# visual representations for displaying data performing assignments.

Systems Development – Applying systems development life cycle to each project / application using standard .Net Framework & 3rd party library components like Progress Telerik and DevExpress. Plan, organize, develop and maintain desktop and web applications in a Linux and Microsoft Windows environment. Develop and maintain programs in Java. Monitor system performance according to prescribed criteria. Identify problem areas and implement solutions according to set specifications and accepted standards. Provide/install application systems as and when required by users in terms of policies and procedures. Provide software and hardware upgrades according to the organization needs. Provide ad hoc user support and training to enhance information systems applications. Resolve user’s problems associated with the usage of information systems Applications. Systems Integration – Multi project & integration with custom built applications such as Learner Integrated Management System to an off the shelf application like AX Dynamics.
